Installing ESX in the past has been a fairly uncomplicated process. It's now even easier with ESX 4i. In the below video, ESX was installed from a PXE Server and then configured with a static IP address. At the conclusion of this video, the server would be ready for further configuration by downloading the Virtual Infrastructure Client from http://192.168.1.80/. The video runs for just under 9 minutes and the actuall time for the install was under 5 minutes. The video also shows the steps necessary to enable SSH and how to edit TargetFilter.py which is necessary for an IDE install.
